The name TriProject came about as 2 USAT Y/J coaches were discussing needs young athletes in Phoenix and surrounding cities. One of the coaches said "he is my tri project " and the name was born.
Based in Tempe Az., we hold practices 6 days a week for youth and junior triathletes catering to athletes from 8-18 years old. It is our goal to play an integral role in the identification, recruitment, development and preparation of young athletes for the USAT pipeline as well as NCAA varsity racing. Our plan is to develop well-rounded athletes capable of success and having fun while doing it.
Our Workout schedule is posted every Sunday on our Facebook page.
Since TriProject does not charge a fee for its coaching services, donations are appreciated to help us bring triathlon to the next generation.
"Coach Alan. with TriProject, is great with youth of all ages. He breaks down skills and is focused on them understanding. He is always positive and encouraging whether it is at practice or at a race time. Alan has strong knowledge, enthusiasm and is an all around good guy who makes it fun while giving challenging workouts. We are blessed to have found him and get to work with him-now on our 3rd year."
"TriProject and Coach Alan have been incredible for our daughter. She has progressed in all phases of a sport that she truly loves. We've been very pleased to see how the practices are conducted safely and with emphasis on technique. They can also be intense, but Coach does an excellent job of tailoring workouts for individuals. The camaraderie among the athletes as well as the parents makes for an enjoyable time at both practices and races. We highly recommend TriProject to any endurance athlete."
"TriProject is an amazing team! Alan is a passionate coach, always pushing his athletes to the maximum of their potential, all in a fun manner. Kids love training with the team! Our family of 3 children have been training with TriProject for 2 years now and itis obvious to notice their physical and skills improvement. Alan is a tue coach, a rare find nowadays."
